Chopo Museum Rehab

It was originally constructed in Germany as a pavilion for the Düsseldorf Exposition of Industrial Art in 1902. Years later, it was demolished and reconstructed in Mexico City, as exhibition space. It also served as Japanese pavilion for the Mexico City Expo and Museum of Natural History. On 1973 it was founded as University Museum of El Chopo.
Now, TEN Architects leaded by Enrique Norten (designers of Guggenheim Guadalajara) have been commissioned to rehab the original structure, and add new spaces for exhibition.
